How did you get your phone to find the thermostat when adding the thermostat device? I have the hive hub and the app connected. Note that my hub and my boiler receiver are quite far apart.

The latest upgrade to the app is terrible, the stat screen is OK with a couple of color options however the menu at the bottom or the zones and settings pages consists of grey text on a grey background with a washed out brown dot showing the zone temperature, this unimaginative use of color in the app makes it boring and not at all easy to see in sunlight, really poor effort and not at all developed with the end user in mind and needs to be rectified

The official product page for the Z-Stick leads with 'the z-stick series 2' and then says further down 'Where to buy Z-Stick Gen5'. So naturally I figured gen 5 was the latest version. I purchased one off Amazon. It's white and has the button on top, but 'series 2' is not to be found anywhere. So what actually is the latest version? Does the S2 / series 2 have 5th gen chipset, or is it newer? What real differences are there? If you can shed any light on the matter that'd be great. Thanks.

you tested the sensor? I got that sensor and trying to connect an external NC switch to the internal connector. Opening the external switch, nothing happen. And this is the opposite of what I excpect..

Chaka Chan I second that the music is a bother. Ideally, things like youtube could have a switch for tuning the background music off. (meaning it would be as a separate sound track in the media)

Very interesting product and good video run down, I've been reviewing all the home automation systems for my house and searching on indigo produced a link to this video, only problem I can see is that indigo requires an interface to communicate with each home automation protocol and Insteon have only released the "hub" in the UK and none of their PLM units support our voltage or power frequency yet. I have found that the hub can initiate a pass through from an open port and http post/ get commands but cant tell if this software can use that method? I suspect not :-(

Sorry, I've not got the Micro Smart Energy Switch yet. This project is all self funded so taking time to get all the hardware purchased. Coming soon we hope though :) Thanks for your support.
